All ready with 3* GP wins on his record he’s definitely got all the potential to go far in the sport.


Ever since he sat on a pony, Guy has dedicated his life to Showjumping.

Raised in Canterbury Kent with his parents Mick and Penny, who helped start Guys successful career on the national circuit and Internationally as a young rider.

He spent time working at the Brendon Stud in Pyecombe before he moved to America to learn the ropes as an International show jumper with Margie Goldstein.

He returned to Kent and married his wife Rebecca, whom he now has three children with, Maisy, George and Freddie, he spent 6 years living and working and competing in France with his family before returning to the UK and his new base in York, North Yorkshire.

Guy has been in the top 10 British riders in the world for over 10 years and is known for being a speed demon.

He has won many prestigious titles, his proudest moment was winning the Hickstead Derby, a dream he'd had since childhood.

Guy is now known as not only a top showjumper but also for training some of Great Britains best up and coming riders.
Guy also sources horses for riders all over Europe for all levels of the sport. He has extensive contacts in the Uk and Europe and has over 25 years of experience buying and selling horses.

Guy is renown for his hard work and true horsemanship.

Wow, a busy but successful week completed at Arena Uk for Team Williams.
All the horses on good form. 
We kicked off the week with a 2nd place for Maisy and Mr Blue Sky in the U25 GP qualifier he then went on to finish 2nd in the six bar with Maisy.
Gold Rush won the Foxhunter and qualified both his finals the following day again with Maisy.
The highlight of the show came on Friday evenings gala night, with a huge crowd and an amazing atmosphere Maisy and Dalton claimed victory in the Puissance, the sole competitor to clear 2.05m.
On Saturday another good day for Maisy when our 4 year old Tuinman Van De Lentamel finished 6th in the 4 year old style and performance, we were super pleased with his performance, he’s competed in two 4 year old National style and performance competitions and been inside the top 6 in both.
Saturday night…. Major Grand Prix night, saw Ernie of Greenhill owned by Sport Horses Ulrich put in an outstanding performance to finish fourth with Guy.

Dalton has been a member of Team Williams for a number of years,  winning ranking competitions with Guy and more recently winning at 1.40 level with Maisy.
He’s become a yard favourite.

17 year old Maisy is already following in her fathers footsteps.

Winner of European Junior Team Bronze medal 2023. 

She is currently competing at 2* and 3* shows.

Maisy got the riding bug when she first competed at the prestigious Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead in the mini challenge at the age of 3.

She spent 6 years of her childhood living in France, she is fluent in French.
She competed with her local pony club in France and finished in 3rd place at the Generali Open de France.

Maisy is now living back in the UK and is riding horses for Team Williams, she can often be seen on the national circuit or travelling to International competitions round Europe with her father.

She has recently been selected for the Gold Development training programme with British Showjumping and is has competed for Great Britain on the Junior British Team.

A fantastic end to the Hickstead season for Masiy.
Finishing 10th in the 1.40 GP qualifier the first day with Devil and a credible 8th in the Le Mieux All England Grand Prix.


Devil joined the yard at the end of March to be sold…. Looks like Maisy has taken a shine to him.
Aiming him at some 2* and 3* competitions this season she is also hoping to secure a place on an U18 Nations  cup.

Hickstead September Tour.

Great Britain’s Junior team were not to be outdone by their Young Rider and Children on Horses compatriots, also claiming a Team Bronze medal at the FEI European Championships for Young Riders, Juniors and Children in Gorla Minore, Italy. The result gives Britain a total of three Team Bronze Medals at these championships.

They didn’t have the most of auspicious starts and, as the faults were turned into penalty points, the team were lying in ninth place of 19 teams. But the four riders came out fighting to steadily move up the order.

Lauren Caroline was first out for the team on the 12-year-old Gait L to come home on four faults. Maisy Williams aboard Devil VD To Jo Pe Hoeve made just one mistake and added a time fault with Noora von Bulow producing similar results riding Interstar B, returning a total of six faults.

The onus lay on Tabitha Kyle’s shoulders to keep Britain in the running and the 16-year-old – a veteran of pony European teams – dismissed any pressure on her young shoulders to rise to the challenge and supply a clear round on TJ Hall’s Desterly.

Lauren and Maisy stepped up superbly in the final round of the team competition, providing vital clear rounds to keep moving up the order. It didn’t go according to plan for Noora with an unfortunate rail and a stop in the combination upsetting the equilibrium, they hit two more rails and added time faults to their score.

Again, the pressure was on Tabitha. A clear put Team GBR into a medal position. But the top rail of the midway stile hit the floor. Tabitha kept calm as it was vital to leave every fence intact. Accuracy had a price, and the added time fault put Britain on equal points with Monaco – a jump-off would decide third place. 

Conscious a medal was at stake, pressure hit the heights for Britain and Monaco. Lauren and Maisy provided fabulous clear rounds to steal an early lead when Monaco’s second rider hit the penultimate oxer. Noora excelled to go even faster and stormed home clear on Interstar B, piling the pressure on the final Monaco rider.

Anastasia Nielsen gamely tried for her team and supplied the fastest time of the jump-off on Tailormade Contou.  It wasn’t enough. Britain had pulled it out of the bag, Tabitha wasn’t required to jump off.

“They were a little behind after the first round but all fought really hard to finish equal third with Monaco – forcing a jump-off,” said Team Manager Clare Whitaker. “We won with three fast clear rounds and didn’t need to jump our fourth rider – an excellent result.”

Maisy and Devil win the Junior GrandPrix in Compiegne.
What a fantastic show this has been for Maisy.
Maisys first time riding for Team GBR with her relatively new ride Devil., they also produced a clear round in the second round of the junior Nations Cup.

This will be Maisy First Nations Cup appearance.
